We’re excited to be returning home to Colwick Country Park for an action-packed weekend of live music and day festivals at the end of June.
Across three consecutive days, thousands of attendees will gather on the south side of the West Lake for a series of different events, with our team providing water safety cover throughout the weekend. Operating from the lake itself, we’ll be providing a dedicated safety boat to ensure the event runs smoothly and respond to any incidents on or around the water.
To help us deliver safe and effective cover, we’re looking for qualified Open Water Lifeguards and experienced Safety Boat Helms to join the team.
Whether you’re available for the full weekend or can only assist on a single day, every bit of support helps. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain event experience, work alongside a professional water safety team, and be part of one of the busiest weekends of the summer at Colwick.
🥪 We will provide dinner on Friday 26th June and Saturday 27th June
🚘 Volunteers can claim reasonable travel expenses
🎒 You will need a refillable water bottle, sun cream, hat, sun glasses, layers to keep warm
🛟 Colwick Park Lifeguards will provide all the equipment and PPE required for you to carry out your role
💤 Unfortunately, as these are day only festivals we can not offer camping or accommodation. We recommend that volunteers live within a reasonable travel distance on the event
